Who Can Advertise
Our ads focus on gaming and gaming-culture companies and individuals. Did you publish a new game supplement, start a comic, or otherwise engage in geeky gamer-culture business? Let us know! People interested in medieval fantasy role playing are often interested in other things like superheroes and science fiction so we're open to many forms of nerdy goodness.
Technical Info for Ads
• File Types: GIF is preferred and JPEG, PNG, or TIFF are standard. We'll contact you if we receive a file format that we can't use. GIF format is handled best by our layout program.
• Size: Our magazine will run at 800x600 px, landscape. We suggest 150 dpi but 72 dpi is the minimum.
• Margins, Etc: We have a .25" margin on every page but if you'd like to create a borderless ad (extends to the edges of the page), it's no problem!
• Trade Dress1: Here is what our default blank page looks like. There may occasionally be different layouts for special articles but this will be our usual design. This example is not full size, it's just for basic, visual reference.
• Maturity/Adult Content: Because this magazine is an independent venture, we can publish the content we choose without worrying about oversight. We have decided to make this an adult publication. This does not mean pornography, depravity, or anything generally considered uncool. This does mean that gore, sexuality, and diabolical villainy in the name of 'awesome' and 'epic' are ok. Each submission will be reviewed and if there's a problem, we'll let you know. We're pretty easy going. If you have questions about something in particular, please contact us before you spend days or weeks on a project!
